I have provided my dataset with geospatial metadata (point data and/or bounding boxes). Why is there no geographical interface to search for datasets by locality?

We realise there is a need for the ability to search for datasets from a specific geographical area. This feature is relevant for all scientific disciplines and connecting data by location is especially of interest to facilitate (new) interdisciplinary research. In 2025, the Data Station Archaeology was the first to be upgraded with a map interface, the other data stations will follow.
