Datasets that were originally published in the predecessor archive of the Data Stations (EASY) contain a file called ‘easy-migration.zip’. This file is open access and was created during the migration of the datasets in EASY to the Data Stations. It is stored with the datasets for provenance and transparency reasons and contains several xml files that provide information about the dataset relevant to the migration process, such as all the files and metadata fields that were available in the EASY system.
